ティム・ワイナー（Tim Weiner、1956–）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト。『ニューヨーク・タイムズ』紙の記者として国家安全保障、情報機関、外交を長年取材し、ピューリッツァー賞を受賞した。CIAやFBI、冷戦、アメリカの情報活動に関する調査報道とノンフィクションで広く知られ、膨大な公文書や関係者への取材に基づく歴史叙述に定評がある。代表作『CIA秘録』では、創設から現代に至るCIAの歴史を機密解除文書や証言をもとに描き、その成功と失敗、アメリカ外交への影響を多角的に検証している。
Tim Weiner (1956–) is an American journalist. A former reporter for The New York Times, he specialized in national security, intelligence, and foreign affairs, earning a Pulitzer Prize for his reporting. He is widely recognized for his investigative books on the CIA, the FBI, the Cold War, and the history of American intelligence, drawing on extensive archival research and interviews. His best-known book, "Legacy of Ashes: The History of the CIA", presents a comprehensive history of the Central Intelligence Agency, examining its achievements, failures, and influence on U.S. foreign policy.
