ティム・アルバータ(Tim Alberta、1986–) ジャーナリスト、作家。『アトランティック』誌スタッフライター。『ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナル』、『ナショナル・ジャーナル』、『ナショナル・レビュー』を経て、POLITICOの首席政治担当記者を務めた。アメリカ政治、とりわけ共和党、保守運動、福音派キリスト教を長年取材し、現代アメリカ社会の分断と政治文化を描く報道で知られる。代表作『The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory: American Evangelicals in an Age of Extremism』(未邦訳)は、アメリカ福音派の変容と政治との結びつきを、自身の経験も交えながら多角的に考察したノンフィクションである。
Tim Alberta (born 1986) is an American journalist and author, and a staff writer at "The Atlantic." Previously the chief political correspondent for POLITICO, he has also reported for "The Wall Street Journal," "National Journal," and "National Review." His reporting focuses on American politics, the Republican Party, conservative movements, and evangelical Christianity, combining in-depth reporting with firsthand insight into the cultural forces shaping the United States. His best-known book, "The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory: American Evangelicals in an Age of Extremism," examines the transformation of American evangelicalism and its relationship with contemporary politics through both investigative reporting and personal experience.
