デボラ・ジャクソン・タファ（Deborah Jackson Taffa） アメリカの作家、ノンフィクション作家。クェチャン族とラグナ・プエブロ族にルーツを持つ先住民作家で、アメリカ先住民芸術研究所（Institute of American Indian Arts）のクリエイティブ・ライティング修士課程ディレクターを務めている。作品では、先住民の歴史や同化政策、その影響を受けた家族の記憶、アイデンティティをテーマに、自身の経験と歴史的背景を重ね合わせながら描いている。代表作『Whiskey Tender: A Memoir』（未邦訳）は、自らの生い立ちを軸に、アメリカ先住民コミュニティが直面してきた植民地主義、貧困、依存症、文化継承の問題を力強く描いた回想録で、2024年全米図書賞（ノンフィクション部門）の最終候補作となった。
Deborah Jackson Taffa is an American nonfiction writer and a member of the Quechan Nation and Laguna Pueblo. She serves as Director of the MFA in Creative Writing Program at the Institute of American Indian Arts. Her work explores Indigenous identity, family history, assimilation, and the lasting effects of U.S. government policies on Native communities, blending personal narrative with cultural and historical reflection. Her memoir *Whiskey Tender: A Memoir* recounts her upbringing in Arizona and New Mexico while examining the intergenerational impact of colonialism, poverty, addiction, and resilience in Native American life. The book was widely acclaimed and was a finalist for the 2024 National Book Award for Nonfiction.
