David Gardner（デイヴィッド・ガードナー）は、イギリスのジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。長年にわたり調査報道に携わり、犯罪、諜報活動、司法、現代史をテーマとする取材・執筆を続けている。綿密な資料調査と関係者への丹念なインタビューを重視する報道姿勢で知られ、歴史的事件や実在の人物を題材にしたナラティブ・ノンフィクションを手がけている。2025年には、ジャーナリストのポール・ヘンダーソンとの共著『A Spy in the Family』で、冷戦期に英国で活動したチェコスロバキアのスパイ、ヴァーツラフ・イェリーネク（エルヴィン・ファン・ハールレム）の実像を、多数の未公開資料と関係者への取材をもとに描き出した。歴史と調査報道を融合させた作品で高い評価を受けている。
David Gardner is a British journalist and nonfiction author specializing in investigative reporting, crime, intelligence, and contemporary history.
