スティーヴン・ミルハウザー(1943年–)は、アメリカの小説家。日常の風景に空想や奇妙な仕掛けを織り込み、長編と短編を発表してきた。19世紀末のニューヨークで壮大な建物を夢見る青年を描いた『マーティン・ドレスラーの夢』(Martin Dressler: The Tale of an American Dreamer)で、1997年のピュリツァー賞を受賞。短編集『バーナム博物館』(The Barnum Museum)などの著作がある。
Steven Millhauser (born 1943) is an American novelist and short story writer who brings fantasy and intricate inventions into seemingly ordinary settings. Martin Dressler: The Tale of an American Dreamer (『マーティン・ドレスラーの夢』), about a young man pursuing an extraordinary architectural vision in late nineteenth-century New York, won the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. His books also include the story collection The Barnum Museum (『バーナム博物館』).
