スティーブ・ウォズニアック（1950年–）は、アメリカのコンピュータ技術者、発明家、起業家。1976年にスティーブ・ジョブズ、ロナルド・ウェインとアップルコンピュータを創業し、Apple IとApple IIの設計を中心となって手がけた。とりわけ、カラー表示やサウンド、拡張スロットを備えたApple IIは、コンピュータを企業や研究機関の装置から家庭で利用できる製品へと広げ、初期のパーソナルコンピュータ市場を形成する原動力となった。アップルでの活動後は、技術教育への支援や児童へのコンピュータ指導にも携わった。ジーナ・スミスとの共著『アップルを創った怪物―もうひとりの創業者、ウォズニアック自伝』（“iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I Invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple, and Had Fun Doing It”）では、電子工作に熱中した少年時代からアップル創業、Apple IとApple IIの開発に至る過程を、技術者自身の視点から振り返っている。
Steve Wozniak (born 1950) is an American computer engineer, inventor, and entrepreneur. In 1976, he cofounded Apple Computer with Steve Jobs and Ronald Wayne and served as the principal designer of the Apple I and Apple II. With features including color graphics, sound, and expansion slots, the Apple II helped move computers beyond businesses and research institutions and into homes, playing a central role in the emergence of the personal computer market. After his work at Apple, Wozniak supported technology education and spent years teaching computer skills to children. In his autobiography, “iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I Invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple, and Had Fun Doing It,” written with Gina Smith, he recounts his childhood fascination with electronics, the founding of Apple, and the engineering decisions behind the Apple I and Apple II.
