スティーブ・ラミレス（Steve Ramirez）は、アメリカの神経科学者。ボストン大学教授を務め、記憶の形成や想起、感情をつかさどる脳回路の研究を専門としている。光遺伝学（オプトジェネティクス）などの先端技術を用いて、記憶の操作やトラウマ、うつ病に関する研究を進め、脳の仕組みの解明と精神疾患の新たな治療法の開発に取り組んでいる。代表作『Memory Makers』では、記憶の仕組みに関する最新の神経科学をもとに、記憶が人格や感情、未来の行動をどのように形づくるのかをわかりやすく解説している。
