Steve Fraser（スティーブ・フレイザー、1945年生まれ）は、アメリカの歴史学者、ノンフィクション作家。アメリカの労働史、資本主義の歴史、経済的不平等、政治文化を専門とし、19世紀から現代に至るアメリカ社会の変遷を歴史的視点から考察している。長年にわたりThe New School for Social Researchで教鞭を執り、労働運動や企業権力、民主主義の発展に関する研究で高い評価を受けてきた。学術的な研究成果を一般読者にもわかりやすく伝える歴史家として知られ、アメリカ資本主義の発展とその社会的影響を鋭く分析した著作を数多く発表している。歴史を通して現代社会の課題を読み解く公共知識人の一人として、幅広い読者に影響を与えている。
Steve Fraser (born 1945) is an American historian and nonfiction author specializing in the history of American labor, capitalism, economic inequality, and political culture. He has taught for many years at The New School for Social Research and is widely recognized for his scholarship on the evolution of American capitalism, the labor movement, corporate power, and democracy.
