Stephen Witt（スティーブン・ウィット、1979年生まれ）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。University of Chicagoで数学を学び、ヘッジファンド勤務や東アフリカでの経済開発支援を経て、Columbia University Graduate School of Journalismでジャーナリズムを学んだ。テクノロジー、ビジネス、経済を専門とし、デジタル社会やイノベーションの舞台裏を緻密な取材とわかりやすい筆致で描くことで高く評価されている。The New Yorkerをはじめ、The Wall Street Journal、Financial Times、Rolling Stoneなどの有力メディアに寄稿し、テクノロジーと現代社会の変化を鋭く分析してきた。実証的な調査と優れたストーリーテリングを融合させた作品を通じて、現代を代表するテクノロジー・ジャーナリストの一人として活躍している。
Stephen Witt (born 1979) is an American journalist and nonfiction author. After studying mathematics at the University of Chicago, he worked in the hedge fund industry and in economic development in East Africa before earning a journalism degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Specializing in technology, business, and economics, Witt is widely recognized for his deeply reported narratives on innovation and the digital economy.
