Stephanie Kelton（ステファニー・ケルトン、1969年生まれ）は、アメリカの経済学者。ストーニーブルック大学教授。専門はマクロ経済学、財政政策、金融政策で、現代貨幣理論（MMT）の代表的な研究者として知られる。『The Deficit Myth』『The State, the Market, and the Euro』『Can Taxes and Bonds Finance Government Spending?』などの著書を通じて、政府財政や財政赤字に関する従来の考え方を問い直し、雇用や経済成長、公共投資を重視した新たな政策のあり方を提唱している。経済理論と現実の政策課題を結び付けながら、財政をめぐる議論に新たな視点をもたらしている。
Stephanie Kelton (born 1969) is an American economist and Professor of Economics at Stony Brook University. Specializing in macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and monetary economics, she is one of the leading proponents of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT). She is the author of The Deficit Myth, The State, the Market, and the Euro, and Can Taxes and Bonds Finance Government Spending?, in which she challenges conventional views of government deficits and advocates new approaches to public investment, employment, and economic policy. By connecting economic theory with real-world policy debates, Kelton has brought a fresh perspective to discussions of public finance and the role of government in the economy.
