鈴木 昂太（SUZUKI Kota）- 民俗学・芸能史研究者、国立民族学博物館人類文明誌研究部助教

鈴木昂太（すずき・こうた、1988年生まれ）は、日本の民俗学者、歴史学者。国立民族学博物館人類文明誌研究部准教授。総合研究大学院大学文化科学研究科日本歴史研究専攻博士後期課程修了。東京文化財研究所無形文化遺産部研究補佐員を経て現職。専門は民俗学、日本宗教史、無形文化遺産研究で、神楽をはじめとする民俗芸能や地域社会における宗教実践の歴史と継承を研究している。綿密な現地調査と歴史資料の分析を組み合わせた研究で知られ、2025年には『比婆荒神神楽の社会史―歴史のなかの神楽太夫』で第47回サントリー学芸賞（社会・風俗部門）を受賞した。著書に『比婆荒神神楽の社会史―歴史のなかの神楽太夫』がある。

Kota Suzuki (born 1988) is a Japanese folklorist and historian. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropological Studies at the National Museum of Ethnology. After earning his Ph.D. in Japanese History from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI), he served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties before joining the National Museum of Ethnology. His research focuses on Japanese folklore, religious history, intangible cultural heritage, and the historical development of kagura and other ritual performing arts. Combining extensive fieldwork with archival research, he has become a leading scholar of Japanese folk performance traditions. His book "A Social History of Hiba Kojin Kagura: Kagura Performers in Historical Perspective" received the 47th Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities (Social Customs and Culture Division) in 2025.
