重松 清（shigematsu kiyoshi）- 小説家

重松清（しげまつ きよし、1963年 - ）は、日本の小説家。岡山県生まれ。早稲田大学教育学部卒業。出版社勤務を経てフリーライターとなり、1991年『ビフォア・ラン』で作家デビュー。『ナイフ』で坪田譲治文学賞、『エイジ』で山本周五郎賞を受賞し、2001年に『ビタミンF』で直木賞を受賞した。その後も『十字架』で吉川英治文学賞、『ゼツメツ少年』で毎日出版文化賞を受賞。家族や学校を主な舞台に、親子や夫婦のすれ違い、いじめ、老いや死など、日常のなかで人が直面する問題を描いている。直木賞受賞作『ビタミンF』は、子どもとの距離や夫婦関係、仕事に悩む30代後半から40代の男性たちを主人公とする七つの短編を通して、人生の折り返し点に立つ人々とその家族の揺れを描いた作品である。

Kiyoshi Shigematsu (born 1963) is a Japanese novelist. Born in Okayama Prefecture, he graduated from the School of Education at Waseda University. After working for a publishing company and as a freelance writer, he made his literary debut in 1991 with "Bifoa Ran." He received the Tsubota Joji Literary Award for "Naifu," the Yamamoto Shugoro Prize for "Eiji," and the Naoki Prize for "Bitamin F." His fiction frequently centers on families and schools, depicting strained relationships between parents and children, marital difficulties, bullying, aging, and death through the experiences of ordinary people. His Naoki Prize-winning "Bitamin F" consists of seven short stories about men in their late thirties and forties confronting difficulties with their children, marriages, and careers, and portrays families struggling to adjust as they reach turning points in their lives.
