Seymour Hersh is an investigative reporter whose work examines American military and state power. Beginning in Chicago, he reported for the Associated Press, The New York Times and The New Yorker. His 1969 reporting on the My Lai massacre won the Pulitzer Prize. The Price of Power investigated Henry Kissinger's role in the Nixon administration and the making of foreign policy, winning the National Book Critics Circle Award. Chain of Command examined the war on terror, detention and abuse in Iraq through policy and command structures.
