塩谷清司（SHIOTANI Seiji）

略歴（Biography）

塩谷清司（しおたにせいじ）は、死亡時画像診断Aiの研究と実践に取り組む放射線科医。筑波メディカルセンター病院や聖隷富士病院で診療に携わり、死後の画像を読み解く方法を専門書でも伝えてきた。共著『死因不明社会2』では、死因究明を支える画像検査の意義を紹介し、医療と社会の疑問を結ぶ診断の役割を考えている。

Seiji Shiotani is a radiologist specializing in autopsy imaging. He has worked at Tsukuba Medical Center Hospital and Seirei Fuji Hospital and contributed to practical texts on interpreting postmortem images. His popular writing considers how imaging can support investigations into causes of death and respond to questions facing families and society.
