四國 光（SHIKOKU Hikaru）- 著述家

四國光（しこく ひかる、1956年–）は、広島市出身の著述家。反戦詩画人・四國五郎の長男。早稲田大学第一文学部を卒業後、電通に入社し、マーケティング局長、ビジネス・ディベロップメント・センター局長、電通コンサルティング取締役などを歴任した。退職後は、シベリア抑留と原爆の記憶を絵や詩に刻んだ父の作品を整理し、展覧会や講演を通じてその活動を伝えている。代表作『反戦平和の詩画人 四國五郎』では、従軍、シベリア抑留、弟の被爆死を経験した四國五郎が、街頭に詩画を掲げる「辻詩」や絵本、反戦ポスターの制作に取り組んだ生涯を、残された作品や資料とともにたどっている。

Hikaru Shikoku (born 1956) is a Japanese writer from Hiroshima and the eldest son of the antiwar artist and poet Goro Shikoku. After graduating from Waseda University’s School of Letters, he joined Dentsu, where he held senior positions in marketing and business development and also served as a director of Dentsu Consulting. Since retiring, he has worked to preserve and introduce his father’s art through exhibitions, lectures, and edited collections. His representative work, “Hansen Heiwa no Shigajin Shikoku Goro,” traces how Goro Shikoku’s wartime service, internment in Siberia, and the atomic-bomb death of his younger brother shaped his paintings, poems, picture books, antiwar posters, and “street poems” displayed throughout Hiroshima.
