椎橋 幸夫（SHIIHASHI Yukio）- 郷土史研究家、写真家

椎橋幸夫（しいはし ゆきお、1939年 - ） 日本の郷土史研究家、写真家。1985年頃から双体道祖神の調査・撮影を開始し、その後は養蚕文化や蚕神信仰に関する全国規模の現地調査にも取り組んできた。長年にわたり各地の石造物、神像、掛軸、民俗資料を記録・収集し、失われつつある日本の民間信仰や地域文化の保存に尽力している。代表作『蚕の神々』は、全国各地に伝わる蚕神像や信仰資料を豊富な写真とともに紹介した資料集であり、日本の養蚕文化と民俗信仰を知るうえで貴重な記録となっている。

Yukio Shiihashi (born 1939) is a Japanese local historian and documentary photographer specializing in folk religion and rural cultural heritage. Since the mid-1980s, he has conducted extensive fieldwork on *sōtai dōsojin* (paired roadside deities) and later expanded his research to silkworm deities and Japan's sericulture traditions. Through decades of nationwide surveys and photography, he has documented religious statues, stone monuments, hanging scrolls, and other folk artifacts that are rapidly disappearing. His book *Kaiko no Kamigami* (*The Gods of the Silkworm*) is an important visual record of Japan's sericultural beliefs and regional folk traditions.
