白石 正明（SHIRAISHI Masaaki）- 編集者

白石正明（しらいし まさあき、Masaaki Shiraishi、1958–） 編集者。中央法規出版を経て医学書院に入社し、雑誌『精神看護』や〈ケアをひらく〉シリーズを創刊・編集した。ケア、医療、障害、哲学など幅広い分野の著者と協働し、多くの話題作や受賞作を世に送り出したことで知られる。代表作『ケアと編集』は、編集者として四半世紀以上にわたる経験を振り返りながら、本づくりを通してケアの思想や対話の可能性を考察している。

Masaaki Shiraishi (born 1958) is a Japanese editor best known for founding the magazine "Seishin Kango" and the "Care o Hiraku" ("Opening Care") book series at Igaku-Shoin. Working across fields including healthcare, disability studies, philosophy, and the humanities, he has collaborated with numerous authors and helped bring many award-winning works to a broad readership. His best-known book, "Care and Editing," reflects on more than twenty-five years of editorial work and explores how the practice of editing can foster dialogue, care, and new ways of thinking.
