Junot Díaz（ジュノ・ディアス、1968年生まれ）は、ドミニカ共和国生まれのアメリカの小説家、短編作家、エッセイスト。6歳のときに家族とともにアメリカへ移住した。ラトガース大学卒業後、コーネル大学で創作の修士号（M.F.A.）を取得した。移民、アイデンティティ、人種、植民地主義、家族をテーマに、英語とスペイン語を織り交ぜた独自の文体で描く作品によって、現代アメリカ文学を代表する作家の一人とされる。2007年刊行の『The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao』は、ドミニカ共和国の歴史と移民経験を壮大なスケールで描いた長編小説として高く評価され、2008年のピューリッツァー賞 フィクション部門を受賞した。著書に『Drown』『The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao』『This Is How You Lose Her』などがある。

Junot Díaz (born 1968) is a Dominican-born American novelist, short story writer, and essayist. He emigrated to the United States with his family at the age of six. After graduating from Rutgers University, he earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Cornell University. Widely regarded as one of the most influential contemporary American writers, Díaz is known for his distinctive prose, which blends English and Spanish while exploring immigration, identity, race, colonialism, and family. His novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (2007), an ambitious story intertwining the history of the Dominican Republic with the immigrant experience, won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. His other notable works include Drown and This Is How You Lose Her.
