ジョセフ・ホーン（Joseph Hone） イギリスの文学研究者、ノンフィクション作家。18世紀イギリス文学と書物史を専門とし、稀覯本や書籍偽造、出版文化をテーマに研究と執筆を行っている。『古書贋作師トマス・ワイズ』（原題 "The Book Forger: The True Story of a Literary Crime That Fooled the World"）は、20世紀最大級の書籍偽造事件を題材に、二人の若き古書商が文献調査や科学的分析を重ねながら真相を解き明かしていく過程を描き、書物の歴史と探究の醍醐味を伝えている。
Joseph Hone is a British literary scholar and nonfiction writer specializing in book history and eighteenth-century English literature. His research explores literary forgery, rare books, and the history of publishing. His best-known book, "The Book Forger: The True Story of a Literary Crime That Fooled the World," reconstructs one of the twentieth century's most notorious literary frauds, showing how two young booksellers combined bibliographical research and forensic analysis to expose a master forger.
