Jonathan Weiner（ジョナサン・ワイナー、1953年生まれ）は、アメリカの科学ジャーナリスト、作家。プリンストン大学卒業。長年にわたり The New York Times の科学記者を務め、進化生物学、遺伝学、生態学、環境科学をテーマに数多くの優れたノンフィクションを執筆してきた。複雑な科学研究を豊富な現地取材と物語性のある文章で伝える科学ライティングの第一人者として高く評価されている。1994年刊行の『The Beak of the Finch: A Story of Evolution in Our Time』は、ガラパゴス諸島のフィンチを通して進化を実証的に描いた作品として、1995年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。著書に『The Beak of the Finch』『Long for This World』『His Brother's Keeper』『Time, Love, Memory』などがある。
