ジョナサン・フランゼン（Jonathan Franzen、1959–）は、アメリカの小説家、エッセイスト。現代アメリカの家族、社会、環境、政治を緻密な人物描写と重層的な物語で描き、現代文学を代表する作家の一人として広く知られている。代表作『コレクションズ』では、中西部に暮らすランバート一家を中心に、家族の葛藤や愛情、変化するアメリカ社会を描き、2001年の全米図書賞（フィクション部門）を受賞した。その後も『フリーダム』や『ピュリティ』など意欲的な長編を発表し、国際的な評価を築いている。

Jonathan Franzen (born 1959) is an American novelist and essayist whose work explores family, society, politics, and the environment through richly drawn characters and expansive narratives. Widely regarded as one of the leading American novelists of his generation, he is known for examining the complexities of contemporary life with psychological depth and social insight.
