ジョン・マクマホン（John McMahon、1970–） アメリカのミステリー作家。2019年に『刑事失格』（原題: "The Good Detective"）でデビューし、同作はアメリカ探偵作家クラブ賞（エドガー賞）最優秀新人賞の最終候補となった。論理的な謎解きと緊迫感あふれる警察捜査を融合させた作品で注目を集め、現代アメリカを代表する警察ミステリの新鋭として活躍している。代表作『猟犬の誇り』（原題: "Head Cases"）は、FBIの特別捜査チームを描くシリーズ第1作で、巧緻なプロットと心理描写が高く評価された警察ミステリである。
John McMahon (born 1970) is an American crime novelist. He made his debut with "The Good Detective" in 2019, which was shortlisted for the Edgar Award for Best First Novel. Known for combining intricate plotting with psychologically rich police procedurals, he has emerged as one of the notable new voices in contemporary American crime fiction.
