ジャン・マーモレオ（Jean Marmoreo） カナダの医師、作家。45年以上にわたり家庭医として診療に携わった後、2016年にカナダで医療介助死（MAiD）が合法化されると、その初期から医療介助死を提供する医師の一人として活動している。終末期医療の現場で得た経験をもとに、患者の尊厳や「よい死」のあり方について発信を続けている。『安楽死の医師 自ら「死」を選んだ患者と家族に起きたこと』（原題 "The Last Doctor: Lessons in Living from the Front Lines of Medical Assistance in Dying"）は、医療介助死に向き合う患者や家族との交流を通して、人生の終わりと医療の役割を考察している。
Jean Marmoreo is a Canadian physician and author. After more than 45 years as a family doctor, she became one of the first physicians to provide Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) in Canada following its legalization in 2016. Drawing on her experience in end-of-life care, she writes about dignity, compassion, and the ethical questions surrounding assisted dying. Her best-known book, "The Last Doctor: Lessons in Living from the Front Lines of Medical Assistance in Dying," reflects on her experiences with patients and families while exploring the meaning of a good death and the role of medicine at the end of life.
