ジェイソン・ファゴン（Jason Fagone） ジャーナリスト、ノンフィクション作家。『サンフランシスコ・クロニクル』などで記者を務めた後、『ニューヨーク・タイムズ・マガジン』や『WIRED』などに寄稿し、テクノロジー、科学、犯罪、歴史をテーマに執筆している。綿密な取材と物語性を兼ね備えたノンフィクションで知られる。代表作『コードブレイカー――エリザベス・フリードマンと暗号解読の秘められし歴史』（原題: "The Woman Who Smashed Codes"）は、アメリカ初の女性暗号解読者エリザベス・スミス・フリードマンの生涯と、その夫ウィリアム・フリードマンとともに築いた暗号解読の歴史を描いたノンフィクションである。
Jason Fagone is an American journalist and nonfiction writer. A former reporter for the *San Francisco Chronicle* and *The Huffington Post*, he has also written for publications including *The New York Times Magazine* and *WIRED*. His work focuses on technology, science, crime, and history, combining investigative reporting with narrative storytelling. His best-known book, "The Woman Who Smashed Codes," recounts the life of pioneering American cryptanalyst Elizebeth Smith Friedman and her groundbreaking contributions to the field of codebreaking alongside her husband, William Friedman.
