James B. Stewart (born 1952) is an American journalist, author, and lawyer. A Pulitzer Prize-winning former reporter for "The Wall Street Journal," he has also written extensively for "The New York Times" on business, finance, corporate governance, and the law. Renowned for his deeply reported narrative nonfiction, he has chronicled some of the most influential companies and financial scandals of the modern era. His best-known book, "DisneyWar," is an inside account of the leadership, conflicts, and transformation of The Walt Disney Company during the Michael Eisner era.
