J. Anthony Lukas（J・アンソニー・ルーカス、1933–1997）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、作家。ハーバード大学卒業後、The New York Times の記者として公民権運動、政治、司法、教育問題などを取材した。綿密な調査と重厚な物語性を兼ね備えたルポルタージュで高く評価され、生涯で2度のピューリッツァー賞を受賞した数少ないジャーナリストの一人である。1985年刊行の『Common Ground: A Turbulent Decade in the Lives of Three American Families』は、ボストン学区バス通学論争を三つの家族の視点から描いた記念碑的ノンフィクションとして高く評価され、1986年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。著書に『Common Ground』『Nightmare: The Underside of the Nixon Years』『Big Trouble』などがある。
J. Anthony Lukas (1933–1997) was an American journalist and author. After graduating from Harvard University, he joined The New York Times, where he reported on the civil rights movement, politics, education, and the American legal system. Renowned for his meticulous reporting and masterful narrative style, he was one of the few journalists to receive two Pulitzer Prizes during his career. His landmark book "Common Ground: A Turbulent Decade in the Lives of Three American Families" explores the impact of the Boston desegregation busing crisis through the experiences of three Boston families and won the 1986 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. His other notable works include "Nightmare: The Underside of the Nixon Years" and "Big Trouble: A Murder in a Small Western Town Sets Off a Struggle for the Soul of America."
