C・E・モーガン（C. E. Morgan、1976年 - ）は、アメリカの小説家。ケンタッキー州のベリア大学で英文学と声楽を学び、ハーバード大学神学大学院で神学修士号を取得した。2013年にホワイティング賞、2016年にウィンダム＝キャンベル文学賞を受賞。代表作『The Sport of Kings』（未邦訳）は2016年カーカス賞フィクション部門を受賞し、2017年ピュリッツァー賞フィクション部門の最終候補となった。ケンタッキーの名門一家が営む競走馬牧場を舞台に、白人の父娘とそこで働き始めた黒人青年の人生を交差させながら、競馬と血統への執着、富と貧困、人種差別、奴隷制の歴史が現代の家族や社会に残す影響を描いている。
C. E. Morgan (born 1976) is an American novelist. She studied English and voice at Berea College and earned a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. She received a Whiting Award in 2013 and a Windham-Campbell Literature Prize in 2016. Her novel "The Sport of Kings" won the 2016 Kirkus Prize for Fiction and was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Set around a thoroughbred horse farm run by a prominent Kentucky family, the novel brings together a white father and daughter and a young Black man who comes to work for them, examining horse racing and breeding alongside wealth, poverty, racism, and the enduring legacy of slavery.
