Richard Kluger（リチャード・クルーガー、1934–2023）は、アメリカのジャーナリスト、歴史作家。ウェイン州立大学卒業後、The Wall Street Journal や Forbes、The New York Times などで記者・編集者として活動した。アメリカ史、社会問題、公民権運動、医療、出版史をテーマとするノンフィクションで高く評価され、綿密な調査と重厚な物語性を兼ね備えた作品を数多く発表した。1986年刊行の『Simple Justice: The History of Brown v. Board of Education and Black America's Struggle for Equality』は、ブラウン対教育委員会裁判に至る公民権運動の歴史を描いた記念碑的作品として、1987年のピューリッツァー賞 一般ノンフィクション部門を受賞した。著書に『Simple Justice』『Ashes to Ashes』『The Paper』『Seizing Destiny』などがある。

After graduating from Wayne State University, he worked as a reporter and editor for The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and The New York Times. His writing focused on American history, civil rights, public health, publishing, and social issues, earning widespread acclaim for its meticulous research and compelling narrative style.
