R・F・クァン（Rebecca F. Rebecca F. Kuang (R. F. Kuang; born 1996) is a Chinese-born American novelist whose work blends fantasy, history, and literary fiction to explore colonialism, war, language, and cultural identity. After graduating from Georgetown University, she studied Chinese Studies at the University of Cambridge and Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Oxford as a Marshall Scholar, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale University. Her acclaimed novel *Babel, or the Necessity of Violence* uses an alternative nineteenth-century Oxford to examine the relationship between translation, imperial power, and resistance. The novel became a *New York Times* bestseller and won the Nebula Award for Best Novel, establishing Kuang as one of the leading voices in contemporary speculative fiction.
