尾田栄一郎（おだ えいいちろう、1975年 - ） 日本の漫画家。高校在学中に『WANTED!』で手塚賞準入選を果たし、その後、漫画家・徳弘正也や和月伸宏のアシスタントを経て独立。1997年から『週刊少年ジャンプ』で連載を開始した『ONE PIECE』は、壮大な世界観と緻密な物語、個性豊かな登場人物によって世界的な人気を獲得し、単一作者によるコミックスの累計発行部数でギネス世界記録に認定されるなど、日本を代表する漫画作品となっている。代表作『ONE PIECE』は、海賊たちの冒険を通して友情や自由、夢への挑戦を描いた長編漫画であり、日本国内はもちろん世界中で読まれ、現代漫画文化を象徴する作品の一つとなっている。
Eiichiro Oda (born 1975) is a Japanese manga artist. After receiving an Honorable Mention in the Tezuka Award for his early work "WANTED!", he worked as an assistant to established manga artists before launching "ONE PIECE" in *Weekly Shonen Jump* in 1997.
