オザン・ヴァロル（Ozan Varol） アメリカの作家、法学者、元ロケット科学者。トルコ・イスタンブール生まれ。コーネル大学で天体物理学を学び、NASAの火星探査車（Mars Exploration Rover）プロジェクトのオペレーションチームに参加した後、法学へ転じ、ルイス・アンド・クラーク・ロー・スクール教授を務めている。科学、法律、起業、心理学など幅広い分野の知見を融合した思考法で知られる。代表作『ロケット科学者の思考法』では、宇宙開発の現場で培われた発想や問題解決の手法を、ビジネスや人生に応用するための実践的な思考法としてわかりやすく紹介している。作家・講演者・ポッドキャストホストとしても幅広く活動している。
Ozan Varol is an American writer, legal scholar, and former rocket scientist. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, he studied astrophysics at Cornell University before joining the operations team for NASA's Mars Exploration Rover project. He later transitioned to law and became a professor at Lewis & Clark Law School. Drawing on his diverse background in science, law, entrepreneurship, and psychology, Varol writes about innovation, creativity, and decision-making. His bestselling book *Think Like a Rocket Scientist* distills lessons from space exploration into practical strategies for solving difficult problems, challenging assumptions, and achieving breakthrough results.
