Olga Tokarczuk（オルガ・トカルチュク、1962年生まれ）は、ポーランドの小説家、エッセイスト、詩人。ワルシャワ大学で心理学を学び、心理療法士として働いた後、作家として活動を始めた。神話、歴史、旅、記憶、身体、境界をテーマに、断片的で詩的な語りと哲学的な思索を融合させた作品で高く評価され、現代ヨーロッパ文学を代表する作家の一人とされる。2007年刊行の『逃亡派』（原題：Bieguni）は、旅と移動、身体をめぐる断章的な長編小説として高く評価され、英訳版 Flights が2018年のInternational Booker Prizeを受賞した。2018年にはノーベル文学賞を受賞し、国際的な評価を確立した。著書に『昼の家、夜の家』『逃亡派』『プラヴィエクとその他の時代』などがある。 Wikipedia ↗

Olga Tokarczuk (born 1962) is a Polish novelist, essayist, and poet. After studying psychology at the University of Warsaw and working as a psychotherapist, she began her literary career and became one of the most important voices in contemporary European literature. Her work blends myth, history, travel, memory, the body, and borders through fragmentary, philosophical, and lyrical prose. Her novel Bieguni (2007), translated into English as Flights, won the 2018 International Booker Prize, bringing her wide international recognition. In 2018, she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
