オデッド・ガロール（Oded Galor、1953–） イスラエル生まれの経済学者。ブラウン大学教授。統一成長理論（Unified Growth Theory）の提唱者として、人類史を通じた経済成長や技術革新、人口動態、不平等の起源を研究している。『格差の起源: なぜ人類は繁栄し、不平等が生まれたのか』（原題 "The Journey of Humanity: The Origins of Wealth and Inequality"）は、人類が長い停滞の時代から持続的な経済成長へ移行した背景を、地理、文化、教育、制度、多様性などさまざまな要因から読み解き、現代の繁栄と格差の起源を考察している。
Oded Galor (born 1953) is an Israeli economist and Professor at Brown University. He is the founder of Unified Growth Theory, which integrates economic history, technological change, population dynamics, and human development to explain the long-run process of economic growth. His best-known book, "The Journey of Humanity: The Origins of Wealth and Inequality," explores how geography, culture, education, institutions, and diversity shaped humanity's transition from millennia of stagnation to sustained economic growth, offering a new perspective on the origins of prosperity and inequality.
