Kosuke Ohki was a physiologist who examined the brain and nervous system at the molecular level. A former professor at Shinshu University, he also wrote for general readers. His work on the chemistry of brain and mind considered drugs and neurotransmitters as a route to understanding connections between mental experience and neural processes.
