貫井 佳子（NUKII Yoshiko）- 翻訳家

貫井 佳子（ぬきい よしこ）は、金融、経済、投資、ビジネスなどの書籍を手がける翻訳家。青山学院大学国際政治経済学部を卒業し、証券系シンクタンクと外資系証券会社での勤務を経て翻訳に携わるようになった。ハワード・マークスの『市場サイクルを極める』では、景気や信用、投資家心理が循環する仕組みと、現在の局面を読み取るための考え方を紹介した。ロビン・ウィグルスワースの『TRILLIONS』では、インデックス・ファンドが金融市場を変えていく過程を、研究者や運用者たちの挑戦からたどる著作を翻訳。また、『チャールズ・T・マンガーの金言』では、投資判断だけにとどまらず、多分野の知識を結びつける学習と意思決定の姿勢を伝える講演や文章を日本語に移している。

Yoshiko Nukii is a Japanese translator specializing in finance, economics, investment, and business. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, she worked for a securities research institute and an international securities firm. In Howard Marks’s “Mastering the Market Cycle,” Nukii translated an explanation of recurring changes in credit, economic conditions, and investor psychology. Robin Wigglesworth’s “Trillions” follows the people and ideas behind the growth of index investing. Her translation of the collection of Charlie Munger’s talks and reflections introduces an approach to judgment that combines investment experience with knowledge from multiple disciplines, extending its questions to learning and decision-making more generally.
