野矢 茂樹（noya shigeki）- 哲学者、東京大学名誉教授

野矢 茂樹（のや しげき、1954年 - ） 日本の哲学者。東京大学大学院博士課程修了後、北海道大学助教授、東京大学大学院教授を経て、現在は立正大学文学部教授、東京大学名誉教授。専門は分析哲学、言語哲学、論理学で、ウィトゲンシュタイン研究の第一人者としても知られる。専門的な哲学を平易な言葉で伝えることに定評があり、論理的思考や哲学的対話の魅力を幅広い読者に紹介してきた。代表作『哲学の謎』は、「考えること」とは何かを日常的な問いから探究し、哲学の面白さをわかりやすく伝えた入門書として長く読み継がれている。

Shigeki Noya (born 1954) is a Japanese philosopher specializing in analytic philosophy, philosophy of language, and logic. After completing doctoral studies at the University of Tokyo, he taught at Hokkaido University and the University of Tokyo before becoming Professor of Philosophy at Rissho University and Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo. Widely recognized as one of Japan's leading interpreters of Ludwig Wittgenstein, he is also celebrated for making philosophy accessible to general readers. His book *The Mysteries of Philosophy* introduces fundamental philosophical questions through everyday examples, inspiring readers to approach philosophy as an active practice of thinking rather than a body of knowledge.
