Kentaro Nobeoka (born 1959) is a Japanese management scholar and Professor Emeritus at Osaka University. His research focuses on technology management (MOT), business strategy, innovation, and product development, and he has made significant contributions to the study of customer value creation and innovation management. He received the Nikkei Prize for Excellent Books in Economic Science for "Multi-Project Strategy" and has more recently developed the SEDA model as a framework for value creation. His best-known recent book, "Keyence: Kōfuka Kachi Keiei no Ronri" ("The Logic of High Value-Added Management at Keyence"), analyzes the management practices of Keyence and explains how customer value can become the foundation of sustainable competitive advantage.
