略歴（Biography）
日本神経科学学会（The Japan Neuroscience Society）は、脳・神経系に関する基礎、臨床、応用研究を推進する日本を代表する学術団体。1974年に設立され、1991年に現在の名称となった。神経科学の研究成果を広く共有するため、毎年学術大会を開催するとともに、国際学術誌『Neuroscience Research』を刊行している。分子生物学から心理学、情報科学、臨床医学まで幅広い研究者が参加し、神経科学の発展と国際連携、次世代研究者の育成、社会への知識普及に取り組んでいる。
The Japan Neuroscience Society is a leading academic organization in Japan dedicated to advancing basic, clinical, and applied research on the brain and nervous system. Founded in 1974, it adopted its current name in 1991. The society holds an annual scientific meeting and publishes the international journal "Neuroscience Research" to promote the exchange of new findings.
