Osamu Nishi (born 1992) is a Japanese manga artist from Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. Nishi made a professional debut with “Shonen K” in 2011 and launched the first serialized work, “Hotel Helheim,” in 2014. In 2017, Nishi began serializing “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun” in “Weekly Shonen Champion”; the series was later adapted into an animated television series for NHK Educational TV. Nishi also writes “Ichi the Witch,” illustrated by Shiro Usazaki. The representative work “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun” follows Iruma Suzuki, a human boy sold to a demon by his irresponsible parents, as he conceals his identity at Babyls Demon School and grows alongside his new friends, aided by his kindness and extraordinary survival instincts.
