中島聡（なかじま さとし、1960年 - ） 日本のエンジニア、起業家、投資家。早稲田大学大学院理工学研究科修了。大学在学中に世界初のパソコン用CADソフト「CANDY」を開発し、1989年に米マイクロソフト本社へ移籍。Windows 95、Internet Explorer 3.0／4.0、Windows 98のソフトウェアアーキテクトとして、現代のパーソナルコンピューティングの基盤づくりに大きく貢献した。2000年にUIEvolution（後のXevo）を創業し、車載ソフトウェア分野で世界的な企業へと成長させた後、会社を売却。現在はシンギュラリティ・ソサエティ代表理事として、AI時代の技術や社会、投資について積極的に発信している。代表作『なぜ、あなたの仕事は終わらないのか スピードは最強の武器である』は、マイクロソフト時代や起業家としての経験をもとに、生産性を飛躍的に高める仕事術を説いた一冊である。「ロケットスタート」の考え方をはじめ、成果を生み出す働き方を具体的に示し、多くのビジネスパーソンやエンジニアに支持されている。
Satoshi Nakajima (born 1960) is a Japanese software engineer, entrepreneur, and investor. After graduating from Waseda University, he joined Microsoft and later moved to its U.S. headquarters, where he served as a software architect for Windows 95, Internet Explorer 3.0/4.0, and Windows 98, helping shape the modern personal computing experience. In 2000, he founded UIEvolution (later Xevo), which became a leading provider of in-vehicle software before its acquisition. He is currently Chairman of the Singularity Society and writes extensively on artificial intelligence, software, and technology-driven innovation. His best-known book, "Why Doesn't Your Work Ever End? Speed Is Your Strongest Weapon," distills lessons from his engineering and entrepreneurial career into a practical framework for achieving exceptional productivity through disciplined execution and early momentum.
