ナオミ・クライン（Naomi Klein、1970年 - ） カナダのジャーナリスト、作家、社会評論家。グローバル資本主義、新自由主義、気候変動、民主主義をめぐる問題を鋭く分析する論客として国際的に知られる。『ガーディアン』や『ネーション』などに寄稿するほか、ブリティッシュコロンビア大学教授を務める。代表作『ショック・ドクトリン――惨事便乗型資本主義の正体を暴く』では、大規模な災害や経済危機、戦争などの混乱に乗じて急進的な市場改革が進められてきた過程を歴史的事例とともに検証し、現代の政治経済を読み解くうえで大きな影響を与えた。環境問題や社会正義をめぐる議論をリードする現代を代表する思想家の一人である。
Naomi Klein (born 1970) is a Canadian journalist, author, and social critic. She is internationally recognized for her analysis of globalization, neoliberalism, climate change, and democracy. A contributor to publications including *The Guardian* and *The Nation*, she also serves as a professor at the University of British Columbia. Her landmark book *The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism* argues that governments and corporations have repeatedly used moments of crisis—such as wars, natural disasters, and economic collapses—to implement controversial free-market reforms. The book established Klein as one of the leading public intellectuals examining the intersection of economics, politics, and social justice.
