Nancy Isenberg（ナンシー・アイゼンバーグ、1952年生まれ）は、アメリカの歴史学者。Louisiana State University名誉教授。アメリカ建国期の政治思想、初期アメリカ史、社会階級、人種、ジェンダーを専門とし、アメリカ社会の形成過程を歴史的視点から研究している。豊富な一次史料に基づく実証的な研究と明快な語り口で知られ、建国の理念と社会の現実との関係を鋭く分析した著作で国際的に高い評価を受けている。学術研究と一般向け歴史ノンフィクションの双方で活躍し、アメリカの民主主義や階級構造の歴史を読み解く代表的な歴史家の一人として広く知られている。
Nancy Isenberg (born 1952) is an American historian. She is Professor Emerita of History at Louisiana State University. Her research focuses on early American history, the political thought of the founding era, social class, race, and gender, examining the historical forces that shaped the United States. Known for combining rigorous archival scholarship with engaging narrative, Isenberg explores the relationship between the nation's founding ideals and its social realities. Through both her academic work and widely read history books, she has become one of the leading interpreters of American democracy, class, and the country's historical development.
