Elu Natsuki is a Japanese novelist from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She began publishing fiction on online platforms including No-Ichigo and writes primarily about young love, loss, and the emotional bonds formed by people confronting uncertain futures. Her representative novel, “Rokuwakusei no Parade,” follows ten years in the lives of a boy whose younger brother caused a fatal traffic accident and a girl whose older sister was killed in it. Facing public hostility, online harassment, grief, and unanswered questions about the accident, the two move along separate paths while developing a fragile connection, their relationship portrayed through the image of planets whose different orbits briefly align.
