中村 二朗（NAKAMURA Jiro）- 経済学者、日本大学総合科学研究所客員教授

中村 二朗（なかむら じろう、1952年生まれ）は、日本の経済学者。日本大学名誉教授・客員教授。専門は労働経済学、計量経済学、医療・介護経済学で、労働市場、外国人労働者、高齢者雇用、介護政策などをテーマに実証分析を行っている。京都大学経済研究所助手、武蔵大学助教授、東京都立大学教授、日本大学大学院総合科学研究科教授・研究科長などを歴任。統計データに基づく政策評価を専門とし、日本の雇用制度や介護制度、人口減少社会が抱える課題について研究と提言を続けている。『日本の外国人労働力』で日経・経済図書文化賞、『日本の介護』で冲永賞を受賞するなど、日本の労働経済学を代表する研究者の一人として高く評価されている。

Jiro Nakamura (born 1952) is a Japanese economist and Professor Emeritus and Visiting Professor at Nihon University. His research specializes in labor economics, econometrics, and the economics of healthcare and long-term care, with particular emphasis on labor markets, foreign workers, aging, and social policy. Over the course of his career, he has held academic positions at Kyoto University, Musashi University, Tokyo Metropolitan University, and Nihon University. Known for his empirical, data-driven approach to policy evaluation, Nakamura has made significant contributions to the study of employment systems, immigration, long-term care, and the economic challenges of Japan's aging society. His work has been recognized with the Nikkei Prize for Excellent Books in Economic Science for Japan's Foreign Workforce and the Okinaga Prize for Long-Term Care in Japan, establishing him as one of Japan's leading labor economists.
