モーシン・ハミッド（Mohsin Hamid、1971–）は、パキスタン出身の小説家、エッセイスト。グローバル化、移民、アイデンティティ、資本主義、社会変動を主題に、現代世界の複雑な現実を鋭い視点と独創的な物語で描き、国際的な評価を得ている。代表作『西への出口』では、内戦を逃れた難民たちの旅を幻想的な要素を交えながら描き、移民や境界、希望をめぐる普遍的な物語として高く評価された。ブッカー賞最終候補にも選ばれ、現代英語文学を代表する作家の一人となっている。
Mohsin Hamid (born 1971) is a Pakistani novelist and essayist whose fiction explores globalization, migration, identity, capitalism, and social change with imagination and moral insight. Blending realism with elements of allegory and magical realism, he has become one of the leading voices in contemporary world literature. His acclaimed novel *Exit West* tells the story of two refugees fleeing civil war through mysterious doors that transport them across the globe, offering a powerful meditation on displacement, borders, and hope. The novel was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and received widespread international acclaim.
