森 祐子（MORI Yuko）- 中学校国語科教諭、司書教諭

森祐子（もり ゆうこ）は、長野県の中学校および特別支援学校に勤務する国語科教諭、司書教諭。1992年から教職に携わり、学校図書館の整備や、障がいのある子どもたちへの読書支援に取り組んできた。司書資格を持ち、「本と子どもの発達を考える会」会員、JPIC読書アドバイザーとしても活動する。代表作『特別支援学校に図書館ができたよ！―ともに楽しむ絵本と実践』では、知的障がい特別支援学校に図書館をつくるまでの試行錯誤を記録。読み聞かせや絵本を用いた授業など、一人ひとりの発達や特性に応じて本と出会うための実践を紹介している。

Yuko Mori is a Japanese-language teacher and teacher-librarian who has worked at junior high schools and special needs schools in Nagano Prefecture since 1992. She has been involved in developing school libraries and improving access to books for children with disabilities. A qualified librarian, she is also a member of the Society for Considering Books and Child Development and a certified JPIC reading adviser. Her representative work, “Tokubetsu Shien Gakko ni Toshokan ga Dekita yo!: Tomo ni Tanoshimu Ehon to Jissen,” recounts the effort to establish a library at a school for children with intellectual disabilities and presents practical approaches to reading aloud, using picture books in class, and connecting each child with suitable books.
