森 夏樹は、歴史、考古学、科学史などの著作を訳す翻訳家。アーマンド・マリー・ルロワの『アリストテレス 生物学の創造』では、古代ギリシアの自然研究を動物や生物の観察に即して検討する著作を訳した。ベン・ウィルソンの『メトロポリス興亡史』は、都市を舞台とする交易、文化、生活の変化を古代から現代まで追う。続く同著者の『都市と緑の人類史』では、庭園や公園、雑草、野生動物などに目を向け、都市と自然の関係を長い時間のなかで捉え直す。

Natsuki Mori translates works on history, archaeology, and the history of science. Armand Marie Leroi’s The Lagoon, published in Japanese as Aristotle: The Creation of Biology, examines ancient Greek natural inquiry through the observation of animals and other living things. Ben Wilson’s Metropolis follows changing trade, culture, and everyday life in cities from antiquity to the present. Wilson’s Urban Jungle then turns to gardens, parks, weeds, and wildlife, reconsidering the relationship between cities and nature over time.
