宮野真生子(みやの・まきこ、1977–2019)は、日本の哲学者。京都大学文学部卒業、同大学大学院文学研究科博士課程単位取得満期退学。福岡大学人文学部准教授を務め、九鬼周造を中心とする日本哲学、日本思想史、倫理学を専門とした。「偶然性」や「出会い」を重要なテーマとし、恋愛、家族、病、生と死といった身近な問題を哲学的に考察した。闘病中に人類学者・磯野真穂との往復書簡をまとめた 『急に具合が悪くなる』 は、多くの読者の共感を呼び、現代の生とケアを考える重要な作品として高く評価されている。その他の著書に『なぜ、私たちは恋をして生きるのか』『出逢いのあわい』『言葉に出会う現在』などがある。

Makiko Miyano (1977–2019) was a Japanese philosopher specializing in Japanese philosophy, intellectual history, and ethics. After studying at Kyoto University, she served as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Humanities at Fukuoka University. Her research focused on the philosophy of Shūzō Kuki, exploring themes such as contingency, encounters, love, family, illness, and mortality. Widely admired for connecting philosophical inquiry with everyday human experience, she co-authored "Kyū ni Guai ga Waruku Naru" (Suddenly Falling Ill) with anthropologist Maho Isono, a deeply moving exchange of letters written during her battle with cancer. The book has become an influential work on illness, care, and the meaning of living. Her other notable works include "Why Do We Fall in Love?", "Between Encounters," and "Encountering Words in the Present."
