宮武 徹郎（Tetsuro Miyatake）- 著述家、ポッドキャスター

宮武 徹郎（みやたけ てつろう）は、米国のテクノロジー、スタートアップ、ビジネスとカルチャーを取材・分析する著述家、ポッドキャスター。バブソン大学を卒業し、事業会社の投資部門で主に北米のスタートアップ投資に携わった。2018年から草野 美木とポッドキャスト「Off Topic」を運営し、テック企業の動きと社会・文化の変化を結びつけて解説した。2021年にはOff Topic株式会社を共同創業し、メディア制作やコンサルティングにも活動を広げた。同番組は2026年5月に最終回を配信し、約7年半の活動を終えた。同年には自身のニュースレター「Slow Times」を始め、米国で育ち、日米を行き来してきた経験をもとに、文化やビジネスについて発信した。9月刊行の草野との共著『未来検索 情報の海から「これから」を見つける技術』では、番組で培った情報収集と分析の方法を整理し、情報を集め、フレームワークをつくり、歴史や文化の文脈から考えを深める手順を説明した。物事を二択に分けず、新しい証拠に応じて仮説を更新する考え方も扱った。TBS Podcastの「SIDE QUEST」では、2026年8月の期間限定番組を経て、10月からレギュラー配信のパーソナリティを務め、米国の消費トレンド、カルチャー、テクノロジーを取り上げた。

Tetsuro Miyatake is a Japanese writer and podcaster covering American technology, startups, business, and culture. After graduating from Babson College, he worked in a corporate investment division, focusing on North American startups. In 2018 he began hosting Off Topic with Miki Kusano, connecting developments in technology companies with changes in society and culture. They co-founded Off Topic Inc. in 2021, extending their work into media production and consulting. The podcast released its final episode in May 2026 after approximately seven and a half years. That year he launched his newsletter Slow Times, drawing on his upbringing in the United States and his experience traveling between Japan and America to write about business and culture. Published in September 2026, his book with Kusano, “Mirai Kensaku: Joho no Umi kara Korekara o Mitsukeru Gijutsu,” organized the information-gathering and analytical practices developed through their podcast. It described collecting information, constructing frameworks, and deepening an interpretation through historical and cultural context. It also examined thinking beyond binary choices and revising hypotheses in response to new evidence. After a limited run in August 2026, his TBS Podcast program SIDE QUEST became a regular series in October, with Miyatake discussing American consumer trends, culture, and technology.
