ミッコ・ヒッポネン（Mikko Hyppönen、1969年 - ） フィンランドのサイバーセキュリティ研究者、技術者。30年以上にわたりマルウェア解析やサイバー犯罪対策の最前線で活動し、F-Secure（現WithSecure）の最高研究責任者（CRO）を長年務めたほか、現在はWithSecureの主任研究顧問として企業や政府に助言を行っている。サイバー犯罪、プライバシー、国家によるサイバー戦、AI時代のセキュリティをわかりやすく解説する論考や講演でも広く知られる。代表作『「インターネットの敵」とは誰か？ サイバー犯罪の40年史と倫理なきウェブの未来』では、1980年代から現在までのサイバー犯罪の歴史を振り返りながら、ネット社会が抱える脆弱性とデジタル時代の安全保障について考察している。
Mikko Hyppönen (born 1969) is a Finnish cybersecurity researcher and technology expert. For more than three decades, he has investigated malware, cybercrime, and digital threats, serving for many years as Chief Research Officer at F-Secure (now WithSecure) and later as Principal Research Advisor. Widely recognized for his ability to explain complex security issues to general audiences, he has advised governments and international organizations while writing and speaking extensively on cyber warfare, privacy, artificial intelligence, and online security. His book *If It's Smart, It's Vulnerable* traces the evolution of cybercrime from the early days of personal computing to today's interconnected world, offering a clear account of the security challenges posed by an increasingly digital society.
